keko Restaurants LLC (“keko,” “we,” “us”) operates kekorestaurants.com and serves Peruvian food for pickup and delivery in Long Beach, California. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address (for delivery orders), order details, and any notes you add. When you join our email list, we collect your email address.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe and is never stored on our servers — we receive only the limited information needed to confirm and manage your order.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information (such as browser type, device, and pages visited) to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

• Prepare, fulfill, and deliver your orders.
• Send order confirmations and receipts.
• Respond to your questions, catering requests, and feedback.
• Send marketing emails about menu drops, offers, and updates — only if you have joined our list, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Operate, secure, and improve the site.

SMS and text messaging

How we collect your phone number. When you call or text our business phone number, we receive your phone number and a record that you contacted us. We use a messaging provider to operate our business phone system on our behalf.

Transactional replies. If you call our business phone number and we are unable to answer, our system may automatically send you a single text message with a link to our online ordering page. These messages are transactional replies to customers who have contacted us first.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and getting help. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further text messages, or reply HELP for assistance.

How we protect your mobile information. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Promotional messages. We do not currently send promotional or marketing text messages. If we offer promotional or marketing texts in the future, they will be strictly opt-in, and we will update this policy before we begin sending them.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run keko — for example our payment processor (Stripe), delivery partners, our messaging provider, and email service — and only as needed to provide our services. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information. As noted above, we do not share mobile information or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Your California privacy rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information). Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary for the site and checkout to function. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure.

Children's privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
